FA Trophy: Poole drawn away to Frome Town in 3rd Qualifying Round

Poole Town will play Frome Town in the Buildbase FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round. The tie is due to be played at the Robins’ Nest on Saturday 30th October.

The sides have met three times before in the competition, with Poole advancing each time. The sides last met in the 1st Qualifying Round, with Dolphins requiring a replay to get past the Robins.

Frome currently play in the league below Poole, sitting in 5th palce in the Southern League Division One South.

The Robins beat Didcot Town 5-1 away from home to advance from the 2nd Qualifying Round.

Poole reached the 1st Round of the FA Trophy last season, losing 2-0 away at National South Maidstone United.

The winners of the tie wll earn £2,450, whilst the losers receive £625.

There are no replays this season, with no extra time. This means if the scores are level, the game will go straight to penalty kicks.
